Shep was born in our first litter to Skye and Ch. Wellknowe Shepherd Boy. We were keeping Shep's sister Corrie (Kilfinan Moonlight Holly) as she was the only bitch of 7 puppies but we kept him as there was "something" about him. Pat Jones of the world famous Wellknowe kennel took one look and said we would make him up! He won first time out under Major Jim Logan and never looked back.
Shep was a lovely character and most of his critiques commented on his balance. His most prestigious wins were at Crufts when he went BOB in 1994 under Margaret Jackson ( Banacek)and was pulled out in the final 8 under Albert Wight ( Sharval) in the large Working Group and Blackpool of the same year when he went BOB under Jenny Osborne (Osmart)winning his 4th CC and then Reserve in the Working Group under Monica Boggia Black.
Tragically this beautiful dog was killed in a road accident in 1995. We will never get over that fateful night, it lives long in our memories as one of the worst nights of our lives.
We are totally indebted to Jenny Osborne who brought Lizzie ( Ch. Osmart Storm's Blue Muslin) one of our favourite bitches, to Shep and produced a litter of 5 .One of these puppies returned to Kilfinan, her name was Lass or Ch. Osmart Lizzies Country Lass with Kilfinan. Through her Shep and Skye's legacy live on.

What a pair of miseries! You wouldn't think we had just won BIS with Shep and RBIS with Skye would you?
However we were really were very happy and very grateful to Breed Specialist Dorrothy Forrest ( Rodoando) for these wonderful awards .
